My Pokemon - Pokemon Scarlet/Violet

Here's a collection of some pokemon from Scarlet/Violet that I have.

Though I understand and agree with some of the complaints, Pokemon Scarlet is still one of my favorite pokemon games. Between the two save files I have of it, I've played 230+ hours. I love how it's more open-world than previous titles. It's one of the few pokemon games where I actually got into the story, and probably the only pokemon game where I actually got attached to the characters. And Koraidon was such a funny boi. This was also the first gen where my boyfriend and I both wanted the same game and had to decide who should get Violet. We ended it with a coinflip that I won, but I shortly changed my mind because, I realized that this would be the first gen where I would have the second version in the title and my boyfriend would have the first. It's always been the other way around. I ended up being glad I got Scarlet because of how much I loved Koraidon's personality. I don't think Moraidon would have had the same effect on me.

I also spent more time shiny hunting in this game than any other pokemon game. Mostly because I actually see results within a reasonable amount of time, and the methods are a lot less tedious. Even hatching eggs seems to go by quicker. It's almost starting to get too easy.

This Meowscarda was my starter in my first playthrough of the game, and is a Paldea champion.

This Pyroar was also on my team during my first playthrough, and champion.

This mabostiff is also a champion, and was my favorite on the team.

This houndstone is another champion. The move Last Respects got me through rough times.

Paldea champion Gogoat.

Paldea champion Gafraiai. I remember trying to find one of these because, I saw it in a promo and wanted it. Turned out Shroodle evolved into it. Idk why I didn't see that coming.

This Quaquaval was my starter in my second playthrough. Paldea champion.

Paldea champion Luxray in my second playthrough. Idk how many times I've had a Luxray on my team, but probably however many games there are that you're able to catch a shinx in.

This shiny Lucario was also a champion from my second playthrough. It is actually an event pokemon that came out right around the time I started a second game. I used it to help me steamroll through the game, as I was mainly playing to get duplicate legendaries. Unfortunately, it didn't listen to me half the time cuz, too overleveled to obey.

Paldea champion Dachsbun from second playthrough. I wanted to keep one on my team during my first playthrough, but unfortunately I had to decide between that and something else and I chose something else. I got my second chance here.

Paldea champion Houndoom from my second playthrough. Given how much I love houndooms, I'm surprised I didn't have one during my first playthrough. I think I might have but ditched it for the mabostiff. Another second-chancer, I guess.

Paldea champion Kommo-o from the second playthrough. Not a pokemon I would normally choose, but I really wanted something that could learn false swipe and this was the best choice. Turned out being a good one.

A drillbur I named Dill. It seemed funny at the time.

Bomb's Away the bombirdier. It also seemed funny at the time.

I named this arbok Kobra because that's arbok spelled backwards.

A Glaceon I named Leafeon to fuck with future me going through my boxes.

An orthworm named Wormboy. On a road trip, I kept seeing graffiti that said "wormboy was here." Idk who "wormboy" was, but I named this Orthworm after him.

A Scraggy named Scrappy Doo.

A sandile I named after Steve Irwin aka the crocodile hunter.

I named this seviper Monty Python because, python.

I got this French lechonk named papa pig in a wonder trade.

This beldum was being a pain to catch. It refused to stay in a ball like it thought it was a god damn legendary. When I finally caught it, I named it Metal Turd because that's what it was being and also what it looks like.

Jigglypuff I named Puff Daddy. Because, JigglyPUFF.

A shiny altaria that I caught when testing out a shiny-hunting method involving picnics. For some reason, catching a swablu was my first choice idk why.

When I was trying for that shiny swablu, I ended up running into this shiny riolu. It wasn't what I was looking for, but I took it!

I almost ran past this shiny cetoddle because, I thought the graphics were just being weird. Then I remembered the color of shiny cetoddles.

I literally ran into this shiny deerling charging down a hill at high speeds. That was cool.

A shiny rellor. I don't remember if I was trying to catch this one or ran into it. I like its golden nugget there.

I don't remember catching this shiny medicham at all.

Nor this shiny weaville that was probably a sneasel when I caught it. I can see myself shiny hunting for a sneasel though so maybe that's how I got it idk.

I didn't even know I had a shiny rhyhorn until I was digging through my shiny boxes for pokemon I caught in Scarlet. These shinies are getting too easy to find.

I vaguely remember finding this shiny magikarp near a bridge while wandering about.

Shiny noibat I caught during a swarm.

When the DLC came out, on Pokemon Home, people kept offering up shinies for cranidos and shieldons. I took advantage of this by mass-breeding cranidos. I ended up hatching this shiny in the process, and laughed.

And then I hatched another shiny cranidos. I laughed harder, and picked this one to evolve.

I wanted to recreate a shiny version of my main game team for the upcoming DLC. And so, I hunted for this grafaiai. Then, I ended up swapping him out for Chien-Pao.

Shiny pyroar I caught for my DLC team. Spent a long time trying to find one.

This shiny greavard was even harder to find, mostly because of how tiny these things are! I used it for my DLC team, but kept it as a greavard because I like its shiny more than houndstone's.

Shiny gogoat I got from breeding, for the DLC team.

Shiny mabostiff I also got from breeding, for the DLC team.

I was too tired of hatching eggs to work on getting a shiny sprigattito. So I used this shiny oinkologne instead. I at one point had an oinkologne on my main team anyway.

The Chien-Pao that ended up replacing my shiny grafaiai. I really wanted something that knew false swipe on my team, and I love this guy. He once ran off the edge of a cliff during a picnic!
