My Pokemon - X/Y

Here's a collection of some pokemon from X/Y that I have.

Pokemon X is one of my favorites. It's the first video game I ever bought on launch. And I've been buying pokemon games on launch ever since. It was the first time I had an opportunity to follow the leaks and trailers leading up to the release date, instead of jumping in blind. Lately I've been trying to jump in blind, but it's not quite the same as it was back when I first got a hold of Diamond/Heartgold/Black. (To be fair, just about every pokemon I saw in those games were practically new to me, save for gen 1 'mons. I'll never be able to go back to those days.) I put in about 173 hours into X.

Not only did I have X, but I also ended up getting a digital copy of Y. I don't remember the details, but there was something Nintendo-related I signed up for that allowed you to pick a free game. And I chose Y so that I could replay the game without having to wipe my save file. Especially since my X save had almost every pokemon stored on it. At that point, I had caught them all except for a bunch of event legendaries. And then Bank came out and I had an almost-complete collection stored on there too! As for the amount of hours I've put into Y, my 3DS clocks it at almost 100 hours.

This was my starter in Pokemon X. I named her Foxy Lady because I knew that's what she'd evolve into. She's a Kalos champion!

This gogoat I named Goatsy is also a Kalos champion.

This pidgeot named Pudge Bum is, too, a Kalos champion. It was a pidgey when I caught it.

Kalos champion Xerneas.

Kalos champion houndoom I named after my boyfriend.

Kalos champion blastoise. It took me forever to figure out who my missing sixth X champion was, and I discovered this boy was still on the cartridge! So I brought him over just for this.

A gible I named after Gibbaaay from iCarly.

I named this bunnelby Nestle Quick in honor of the Nestle's Quick rabbit.

I did a few Nuzlocke runs in Pokemon Y. During one of them, I came across a flabebe that I named AdamColeBebe. (Wrestling fans will understand.) It evolved into this floette.

During a Nuzlocke run in Y, I wonder traded a KO'd pokemon and got a skiddo named Skittles. It went on to become a champion. Never died!

An aduino I named Arduino after the computer hardware thingy idk how to describe it but nerds might get it.

A skorupi named Sting.

I named this abra A bra because I thought it was funny in that moment.

A gulpin I named Big Gulp after the 7/11 drink size I was always drinking back when this game came out. I am not a healthy person.

I named this bulbasaur Sycamore after the professor because he gave it to me.

Roserade named Bud Light that I got in a GTS trade.

I got this french braixen named Mulder in a trade. I actually thought the french name for braixen was Mulder until I got another french braixen with its actual name. Approximately 10 years later, shortly after I started watching X Files, I came across this guy in my boxes and finally understood the reference. (A main character is named Fox Mulder.)

Female Mr. Mime I named Mrs. Mime.

I got this flabebe named Latios in a trade and was very confused for a moment.

A fennekin cleverly named Firefox. Most likely after the web browser I'm making this website in.

Snorlax named Laxative.

A druddigon I got in a trade named Mama Poop.

I got this phione named iPhone 4 in a trade. Which goes to show you how old this game is.

A shiny luvdisc I named Piss because it's yellow and I wanted to see if piss would make it past the censors.

Shiny relicanth I caught in Pokemon X using the fishing chaining method.

Shiny clawitzer I caught in Pokemon X using the fishing chaining method.
Diamond Heartgold Black XY ORAS Sun Sword BDSP Arceus Scarlet Miscellaneous
